With a career spanning more than five decades, Robert brings extensive experience in accounting, auditing, and business tax matters. He began his professional journey with Haskins & Sells in New York City, where he performed audits for clients in the transportation, utility, and brokerage industries.
In 1969, he joined Bertz & Co. as a staff accountant, preparing audited financial statements during the day and handling individual tax returns in the evenings. He earned his Certified Public Accountant designation in 1975.
Over the years, Robert advanced into leadership roles and ultimately served as the in-charge partner for the firm's largest audit client, a position he held through 2000. Today, he continues to serve a diverse range of clients, focusing on general business and tax matters with the same dedication and professionalism that have defined his career.
